Terms & Conditions

Last updated 20 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Eventrows, including our website, web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Eventrows ("Eventrows", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Eventrows

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You're responsible for ensuring that anyone you invite to your account (staff, contractors, collaborators) complies with these Terms.

2. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@eventrows.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We're not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account unless caused by our own negligence.

3. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Eventrows is offered on a subscription basis, billed either monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. New accounts start with a free trial period; at the end of the trial you'll need to choose a paid plan to continue using full functionality.

Monthly plans are billed in advance each month and annual plans are billed in advance for the full year, typically at a discount to the monthly rate. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide partial refunds for unused time within a period unless required by law.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Paystack). We don't store your full card details. If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to paid features until the outstanding amount is settled. We'll notify you before this happens wherever possible.

We may change our pricing from time to time. If we do, we'll give existing subscribers reasonable notice before the change applies to their next billing cycle.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break any applicable law, or infringe someone else's rights;
  • Send unsolicited spam, phishing content, or unlawful marketing communications to clients or third parties;
  • Upload malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another tenant's data;
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written permission;
  • Interfere with the Service's availability or security for other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

5. Your content and client data

You retain ownership of the data you and your clients enter into Eventrows — including quotes, contracts, invoices, event details, guest lists, and files you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and support the Service. You're responsible for having the appropriate rights and consents to store and process any client or guest personal information within the Service, in line with applicable data protection law (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Third-party integrations

Eventrows integrates with third-party services such as payment processors (Paystack, Stripe), WhatsApp, and infrastructure providers (Google Firebase). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the relevant third party's own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services outside our direct control.

7. Intellectual property

Eventrows and its original content, features, branding, and functionality are owned by Eventrows and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our name, logo, or trademarks without prior written consent.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Eventrows available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend features for maintenance, security, or improvement purposes, and will try to give notice for any planned downtime that materially affects you.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay outstanding fees, or if we're required to do so by law. On termination, we'll retain your data for a reasonable period as described in our Privacy Policy to allow for export, after which it may be deleted.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eventrows won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
